Walk-in-Interview
Suitable candidates are invited for walk-in-interview for consideration of appointment on
following project based purely temporary positions under APN project. Two persons are also
required on purely contractual basis for execution of works of different projects. On expiry of
Position, Emoluments and Age Qualifications Desirable Nature of duties 1. Project Fellow (01 No.) (Rs. 12,500/month, consolidated) Age: 28 years Master degree in Geology/Earth Sciences/Physical Sciences/Master degree in Engineering with specialization in Hydrology/Glaciology with good academic record. Experience of Remote Sensing and GIS APN Project: “Impact of global change on the dynamics of snow, glacier and runoff over the Himalayan mountains and their consequences for highland and downstream regions” till August 2010. 2. Field Assistant (01 No.) (Rs. 5000/month consolidated) Age: 40 years. Science Graduate Experience of working in hilly areas for field data collection/glacier studies Field survey and data collection 3. Contractual manpower (02 Nos.) (Rs. 6000/month consolidated) Age: 35 years. Graduate Experience of administrative/ accounts/ Stores/ maintenance works, etc. with knowledge of computer word processing. Accounting software Tally, MS Excel etc. Preference will be given to ex-army personnel and retired Central Govt. employees. Maintenance of accounts books/ledger, etc. Maintenance of personal records of project staff, word processing in computer, etc.

Tuesday, 22.12.2009. Candidates should forward an advance copy of application to the
Administrative Officer. They should also bring certificates and testimonials in original at the time
of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
