Requirement of Sr. Consultant (Fiduciary Capacity Building)

National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU) has been set up by the Government of

India to facilitate planning, organizing, monitoring and evaluating the activities of the

Technical Educational Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP). NPIU needs the

services of a Sr. Consultant (Fiduciary Capacity Building) for implementation of Project

TEQIP II on contract basis in the fee range of Rs. 45,000 – 55,000/- per month for a

period of one year extendable as per future requirement and/or with co-termination of

the project whichever is earlier.

Qualifications: MBA in Finance or ICWA/CA (with first class) from AICTE/UGC

approved Institute. Familiarity with the use of MS Office & Financial Management

System will be essential.

Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in finance/audit of preferably externally

aided projects or relevant work in the development sector or in the technical education

sector.

Job Description : The candidate is expected to prepare an annual plan of training and

impart training to the officials of State Project Facilitation Unit/Centrally funded Institutions

and Auditors and monitor timeliness and quality of training by implementing agencies.

Coordinate timely completion of annual audit and maintaining updated database of audit

observations.

Age: Not exceeding 60 years as on December 18, 2009.
